This is a field + leadership hybrid for someone whos been a solid mosquito or pest tech and is ready for more responsibility. Youll run routes, deliver quality service, and help keep daily operations running smoothly. Youll also play a key role in helping customers understand whats driving their pest issues and connecting neighbors who might benefit from our services. If you take pride in your work, want to be part of building something from the ground up, and are looking for a role that can grow into a full-time, year-round position quickly, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities:
- Field Work
- Deliver mosquito and tick control and perimeter pest treatments across Essex County
- Assess properties for breeding sites, standing water, and environmental factors
- Educate homeowners on prevention and long-term solutions
- Build relationships with customers who trust your expertise
- Operations Support
- Help coordinate schedules and optimize routes
- Train and support other technicians
- Monitor equipment, inventory, and vehicle readiness
- Identify issues early and communicate proactively
- Customer Solutions
- Look for opportunities to help neighbors and nearby properties
- Identify homes that could benefit from our services
- Provide referrals and introductions that help grow the business
- Valid NJ driver's license with clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and handle backpack sprayer (up to 60 lbs)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in pest control or related field
- Pest control certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Team leadership experience
- Reliable, self-motivated, takes ownership of your work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety
