Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents to determine occupational therapy needs, goals, and discharge planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, and caregiver education.
- Deliver OT interventions, including therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment recommendations, and safety training for daily tasks.
- Monitor resident progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy, social services, and rehabilitation services) to optimize care plans and transitions.
- Educate residents and families on exercises, assistive devices, and home-management strategies to support independence.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey (state-specific)
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for interprofessional collaboration
- Comfort with documentation and regulatory compliance requirements
