Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
• Support the front office with basic receptionist duties when required.
• Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Knowledge of infection control procedures in a dental setting.
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices and terminology.
• Understanding of human anatomy as it relates to dental health.
• Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
• Background in pediatric dentistry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Knowledge of prosthodontics and medical imaging processes is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 + per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
