Finance and Administrative Assistant
We are a fast growing multi-franchise child care company looking for an experience professional!
Finance and Administrative Assistant for a hybrid role performing a variety of financial and administrative tasks. Duties will include data entry, preparing P&L worksheets, updating financial records, processing semi-monthly payroll and invoices. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as be proficient in Excel and Power Point. Ultimately, you'll help maintain our company's financial health and make sure we use our resources beneficially.

1. Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors.
- Assist with collections and follow-up on outstanding receivables.
2. Assist with General Ledger and Journal Entries
3.Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain accurate records.
- File and organize financial documents and records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
4. Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Generate financial analysis reports as needed.
- Compile data for budgeting and forecasting purposes as needed.
5. Administrative Support:
- Assist with day-to-day office tasks, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Manage office supplies inventory and order replenishments as needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments as needed.
- Assist in organizing company events and activities as needed.
- 6.Communication and Correspondence:
- Draft and edit correspondence, memos, and other documents.
7. Visit local centers for administrative purposes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative or accounting role is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
