***Part-Time Medical Assistant – Sports Medicine (Bridgewater, NJ)***

About the Role

Join a fast-paced, high-volume sports medicine practice in Bridgewater, NJ, where you’ll support a dynamic team of physicians and physician assistants. We’re looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who thrives in a busy environment, adapts to different personalities, and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients with sports-related injuries and chronic conditions
• Perform patient intakes, rooming, and vital checks
• Reconcile medications and update patient histories
• Prepare charts and exam rooms prior to visits
• Complete prior authorizations and manage inventory
• Triage phone calls and respond to patient/physician inquiries
• Maintain accurate records in Athena EMR

Must-Haves:

• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• CMA certification and diploma from an accredited MA program
• Comfortable in a fast-paced sports medicine setting
• Strong EMR experience (Athena preferred)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with pediatric patients
• Adaptability to work with both fast- and slow-paced providers

Work Environment

• Support 5 sports medicine physicians and multiple PAs
• Work alongside a team of 5+ MAs (growing to 7)
• High patient volume: 80–100 patients/day across the office
• Patients range from pediatric athletes to older adults managing arthritis or recovering from surgery

Schedule

• Monday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• (30-minute unpaid lunch )

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
