Environmental Scientist
Responsibilities of the Environmental Scientist role will include:
- Perform and Prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21
- Perform records review, site reconnaissance to identify RECs, ASTM Non-scope items, BERs at the property.
- Perform interviews and investigate regulatory listings
- Identify and evaluate for environmental compliance
- Coordinate and manage tasks associated with the implementation of research and field activities and report preparation.
- Develop conclusions and recommendations for further action.
- Interpret information and analytical data.
- Prepare technical reports for submittal to clients.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related science field required.
- 0+ years of experience performing Phase I ESAs
- Must meet the definition of an Environmental Professional as set forth in 40 C.F.R. § 312.10(b)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail.
- Resourcefulness and initiative.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong work ethic.
- Willingness to perform a variety of assignments on short notice
