A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a LTC Closed Door Pharmacist for an onsite contract opportunity in Vineland, NJ .
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Pay: $64.27 per hour
Openings: 1
Work Setting: Onsite
What You’ll Do
- Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosing, storage, side effects, and potential interactions.
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription products and respond to patient questions.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and ensure proper management of pharmacy files.
- Monitor medication compliance and over-usage patterns; identify drug-related problems and communicate with providers.
- Support patient services (as applicable), such as smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management.
- Educate patients on use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).
- Compound medications (internal/external use) and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
- Supervise pharmacy staff (pharmacy technicians, clerks, etc.).
- Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, interns, and other healthcare practitioners.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice (State Board of Pharmacy)
