Warehouse Assistant Manager (Replenishment & Picking Operations)

Growing fulfillment and logistics center is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to support daily warehouse operations in a high-volume environment. This role works closely with the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager and is primarily responsible for replenishment coordination and overseeing picking teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on warehouse experience who is comfortable leading small teams on the floor and keeping operations moving during peak volume.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily warehouse operations by monitoring workflow, identifying issues or bottlenecks, and assisting with problem-solving to maintain efficiency and service levels
• Oversee and coordinate a picking line of approximately 3–15 associates , depending on order size and volume
• Provide clear, concise direction to picking staff to meet productivity, accuracy, and shipping deadlines
• Work in tandem with the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager to plan and execute job orders and shipments across multiple accounts
• Communicate effectively with other departments to align shipping priorities and operational needs
• Assist with shipping coordination using cloud-based ERP systems, Excel, and shipping platforms
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in high-volume warehouse operations , including picking, shipping, or replenishment
• Comfortable leading and directing small teams on the warehouse floor
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to reprioritize quickly as needs change
• Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with speed and accuracy
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, fulfillment, or related industries preferred
• Proficient with computers and able to learn new systems quickly (ERP, Excel, shipping software)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing 10–50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in both hot and cold warehouse environments
• Regular use of hands and arms for handling, reaching, and carrying materials
