Municipal Engineer - Project Manager
Civil Engineer – Municipal Infrastructure & Project Support
Join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact municipal infrastructure projects. Contribute to planning, design, and execution of road, stormwater, utility, and land development projects while working closely with senior engineers and supporting public sector clients.
What You'll Do
- Assist in municipal engineering projects including road rehabilitation, stormwater management, subdivisions, land development, and utility design
- Support capital improvement projects for public sector clients under guidance of senior staff
- Help develop project work plans, budgets, and construction cost estimates
- Prepare and review project plans, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with senior engineers on technical developments, scheduling, and resolving design or construction issues
- Attend municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings with senior team members
- Communicate project updates to clients and stakeholders as directed
- Collaborate with and learn from junior and senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills
- Support business development efforts and proposals
What You Bring
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering; EIT required
- 2–5 years of experience in municipal infrastructure, land development, or site development projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; GIS and Hydroflow experience a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow professionally
