Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a restoration company, is seeking to hire a Production Supervisor to support their Wayne, NJ location. As a senior member of the management team, you will confidently lead a dedicated crew of about 20 employees, focusing on talent development, identifying strengths, motivating the team, and fine-tuning our established systems. You will partner with the President to ensure quality control and continued growth, and you will be responsible for all plant-related activities, from machinery to human resources, playing an integral role in all aspects of our operations.

Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 20 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop talent within the team by identifying strengths and providing opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with the President to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Oversee plant operations, including machinery management and human resources activities.
• Implement strategies to improve production efficiency and manage operations by key performance metrics.
• Proactively develop solutions to challenges that arise in the production process.
• Handle employee issues and foster a culture of open communication and support.
• Utilize computer skills for reporting and operational management.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 5 years of production experience in a manufacturing or related environment.
• A proven track record of managerial success in leading teams effectively.
• Strong skills in improving production processes and managing operations by the numbers.
• Mechanical knowledge of dry cleaning and laundry machinery and equipment.
• A passion for quality control and exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in handling employee issues and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Strong computer skills for operational management and reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with team members.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
