Production Laborer

Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Laborer for our client in New Brunswick, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shifts Available
• 6AM - 2:30PM ,
• 7:30AM - 4PM , or
• 8AM - 5PM

Pay Rate:

• $16.75 - $21 / hour

Job Summary:

The Production Laborer supports daily manufacturing operations by assisting with product assembly, material handling, and quality control processes. This role may involve working in various production areas, including assembly, material handling, line support, and quality inspection. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble products according to established work instructions and production guidelines
• Handle and move materials throughout the facility to support production flow
• Monitor production lines and assist team members as needed
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and production protocols
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Support multiple production functions as assigned, including assembly, material handling, and QC
• Assist Line Leads or Production Leads with daily operational tasks when required.

Job Requirements:

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred (varies by role)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Line Lead candidates should demonstrate prior leadership experience
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the role
