Turret Truck Operator
Pay rate: $18-22/hr (DoE)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2nd shift - 1:30 pm - 10:30 pm; overtime as needed Responsibilities
- As a Turret Truck Operator, you'll be at the heart of our warehouse operations-picking, moving, and staging full pallets with precision
- Write the order number, name of the receiver, and quantity of case on every order, box, pallet, packages and bins pulled
- Report bad tickets right away to the appropriate leader
- Pull all orders in a timely manner
- Once orders are pulled, help run freight and locate product
- Report broken pallets to supervisor
- Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
- Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
- Work with other machinery and material handling equipment
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Hands-on experience operating a turret truck in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by the company
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs,; weight may be more dependent upon facility
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
