In addition to competitive pay, you’ll benefit from housing support and a travel program designed to ease transitions between assignments, ensuring you can focus on delivering outstanding patient care from day one. Role Specifics and Benefits:
As a Physical Therapy Assistant in this travel role, you will:
- Implement and modify therapeutic activities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, drawing on evaluation findings to tailor interventions that enhance ROM, strength, balance, endurance, and functional mobility.
- Assist with modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, edema management, and functional mobility training, while ensuring patient safety and alignment with evidence-based protocols.
- Monitor patient responses, document progress accurately, communicate changes to the supervising PT, and participate in care planning to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, self-management strategies, and safety precautions to promote sustained improvement beyond the clinical setting.
- Adapt activities for varied populations, including postoperative, orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and multidisciplinary care contexts, while maintaining meticulous infection control and equipment readiness.
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered care environment that prioritizes quality, compassion, and measurable improvement. Benefits you can expect include:
- A travel bonus and competitive weekly pay of $1,262-$1,318, with guaranteed 35 hours per week, and the flexibility to extend assignments for ongoing professional development.
- Housing assistance to streamline housing logistics, reducing barriers to accepting assignments in new locations.
- Clear pathways for contract extensions, allowing you to build continuity and deepen your expertise within the specialty.
- Comprehensive 24/7 support from a dedicated travel team, ensuring you have quick access to clinical guidance, scheduling, and problem-solving while on assignment.
- A culture that values your contribution, with resources for ongoing education, mentorship, and career progression within a supportive framework. Company Values:
