Tax Principal
- Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert on complex tax matters, including partnership, corporate, and individual taxation.
- Perform high-level technical review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current tax laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and technical support to partners, managers, and staff on sophisticated tax issues.
- Identify and resolve complex tax compliance and planning issues for high-value clients.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory development and implementation of best practices in tax compliance, review processes, and technical training.
- Collaborate with partners to enhance efficiency, mitigate risk, and strengthen client service delivery.
- Support the firm’s business development efforts by contributing technical expertise in client meetings, proposals, and thought leadership.
- Extensive expertise in partnership taxation, including allocations, distributions, basis calculations, and special transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate and individual taxation.
- Proven experience as a high-level reviewer of complex tax returns across entity types.
- Proven experience with tax issues related to real estate, financial services, or tax credit industries.
- Ability to take a proactive, consultative approach and translate complex tax matters into practical business solutions.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with partners and mentor junior professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

- Compensation: $180,000 to $250,000 depending on experience. More possible if experience dictates.
