Luxury Garment Finishing Specialist (Quality Control)
About the Role
Imagine starting your day at 8:30 AM, greeting a rack of impeccably tailored suits and jackets crafted from wool, cotton, and linen. You review care notes, heat your steam iron, and begin the art of finishing—shaping lapels, smoothing seams, and setting crisp lines. Between each garment, you inspect every stitch and surface, catching even the faintest inconsistency before it leaves the floor. By 5:00 PM, you've ensured each high-value piece looks flawless and meets rigorous quality standards.
Schedule
- 7 days per week (including weekends)
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Professionally press high-value suits and jackets with precision using steam irons to achieve a superior finish
- Handle delicate, natural-fiber garments (wool, cotton, linen) with expert care
- Perform thorough quality control inspections against established benchmarks
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies promptly
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace
- Adhere to garment-handling guidelines and workplace safety procedures
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in professional garment pressing (steam iron required)
- Hands-on experience with natural fibers such as wool, cotton, and linen
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship
- Background in apparel QC, tailoring, or garment manufacturing preferred
- Ability to consistently work a 7-day schedule
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
