About the role: We are seeking an experienced attorney with a passion for family law. This role is ideal for someone well-versed in handling all aspects of matrimonial and related matters who is ready to hit the ground running. The right candidate will provide exceptional representation, prioritize client goals, and demonstrate a deep commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes. Compassion, strong relationship-building skills, and courtroom expertise are key to success in this position.

- Strategically contributes to the development and implementation of case strategy, with a deep knowledge of the rules of procedure to back up that strategy.
- Handles matters of moderate complexity.
- Confident, competent, and knows the way around a courtroom.

- Skills and experience are important, but personality, character, intelligence, and integrity are equally valued.
- Able to wear many hats to support the firm’s growth—no task is too small, and no job is “beneath you.”
- Punctual and highly organized.
- Exclusively practice family law (divorce, prenups, parenting time, mediation, etc.).
- Demonstrate experience in taking ownership of a client’s case—discovery, pleadings, motions, collaboration, mediation, pretrial hearings, motion hearings, and trials.
- Conduct client meetings and recommends strategies.
- Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitors their work.

- Hybrid remote work schedule.

- Salary range: $100,000 - 150,000. Salary commensurate with experience.
- NJ Bar Admission.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in family law
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex legal issues, precedents, and statutes.
- Proficiency in negotiating settlements and agreements.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Experience managing cases from inception to resolution, including organizing and maintaining case files.
