OR RN Job Details – Vineland, NJ

• Location: Vineland, New Jersey (08360) – South Jersey healthcare jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts per week)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• On-Call Requirement: One weekend per month (24 hours Saturday, 12 hours Sunday)
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• Assignment Length: 13-week nursing contract

Operating Room Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with ability to scrub and circulate
• Specialized experience (3+ years) in Orthopedic Spine, Robotic Surgery, and Trauma patient care
• Active RN license in the State of New Jersey (NJ nursing jobs)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
• National certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred
• Completion of full orientation and training is mandatory

Key Responsibilities for OR RN

• Scrub and circulate for a range of surgical procedures, with emphasis on orthopedic spine, robotics, and trauma cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile field and strictly follow infection control protocols
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation for the operating room
• Complete all required orientation modules and in-person clinical training
• Demonstrate adaptability and strong clinical skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
