Plumber

We are seeking a qualified Plumber to join our team and support facility operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and safety standards.

Position Overview

The Plumber will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, gas systems, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems. This includes sinks, water heaters, hot water tanks, boilers, and related equipment. Work must be performed in compliance with NJ plumbing codes and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications

• Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues efficiently

• Install and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related equipment

• Repair or replace broken pipes, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures

• Install and maintain water heaters, boilers, and other water-based heating systems

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations

• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure proper function

• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing situations

Qualifications

• Valid plumbing license or certification (NJ preferred)

• Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
