What does a successful Director of Software Development do at Fiserv?

As a successful Director of Software Development, you will lead a team of talented developers to create cutting-edge solutions that address complex business challenges. You will involve strategic planning, project management, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software applications.

What you will do:

• Lead and manage a team of developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.

• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

What you will need to have:

• 8+ years of experience in software development and programming

• 4+ years of experience leading teams

• 4+ years of experience in Python, or similar programming languages

• 4+ years of experience in SQL databases

• 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services, primarily AWS

• 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry

Salary Range

$146,000.00 - $244,800.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
