VP of Marketing
Location: Newark, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
Salary: $150,000 - $225,000, based on experience
This is a senior marketing leadership role built for someone who can drive growth through strategy, brand leadership, and disciplined demand execution.
The marketing function is active and capable. What the business needs now is a full-time, in-office leader who can elevate strategic thinking, tighten execution, and directly connect brand activity to pipeline and revenue impact.
About the Role
You will own marketing strategy and execution end-to-end, with accountability for brand consistency, demand generation performance, and cross-functional alignment with Sales and Product.
This is not a channel manager role. You are expected to think big, prioritize clearly, and ship consistently. You will translate executive vision into campaigns, launches, messaging, and measurable pipeline growth.
You will also play a critical role in supporting business development and sales transitions by ensuring marketing drives clarity, consistency, and commercial momentum.
What You’ll Own
• Set the marketing strategy across brand, demand generation, product marketing, dealer marketing, and events
• Build a focused demand engine tied to measurable pipeline and growth targets
• Own pipeline visibility, attribution, and performance reporting
• Strengthen brand positioning, messaging architecture, and visual consistency
• Align closely with Sales and Business Development to support commercial transitions
• Coordinate with Product to ensure launches are market-ready, timed correctly, and communicated clearly
• Raise execution standards across campaigns, trade shows, dealer initiatives, and digital channels
• Create structure, timelines, and accountability so projects move without delay
Must-Haves
• Senior marketing leadership experience with accountability for pipeline or growth outcomes
• Proven ability to build and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies
• Strong brand instincts with experience enforcing messaging and visual standards across formats
• Experience aligning marketing with Sales and Product in complex organizations
• Ability to bring structure, clarity, and measurable performance discipline to a marketing team
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, building products, or other product-driven industries
• Strong trade show and event strategy experience with measurable ROI
• Experience improving marketing attribution and CRM-driven reporting
• Experience operating in values-driven environments with clear brand guardrails

• Establish a clear marketing roadmap tied to business objectives
• Improve execution speed by clarifying ownership and timelines
• Implement or refine pipeline tracking and attribution visibility
• Strengthen working rhythm with Sales, Product, and Business Development
First 6 Months
• Marketing strategy expands and evolves to directly support and scale broader business goals
• Marketing becomes a predictable contributor to pipeline and revenue
• Product launches and campaigns execute with tighter cross-functional coordination
• Brand consistency improves across digital, print, events, and sales materials
• Demand generation performance shows measurable lift and clearer ROI
