Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (OR – Labor & Delivery)
Location: Englewood, NJ
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (August 3, 2026 – November 2, 2026)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Position Type: Travel
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Labor & Delivery Operating Room experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected New Jersey hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative surgical team providing exceptional care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.
Must Have- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery Surgical Tech experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and obstetrical procedures
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery OR
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Experience assisting with C-sections and emergency obstetrical procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronic documentation systems
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for Labor & Delivery surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff during cesarean sections and other obstetrical surgeries
- Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning properly
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection prevention standards
- Anticipate surgical team needs while supporting efficient workflow throughout procedures
