Part Time Cable Assembly Technician

Are you detail-oriented, handy with tools, and looking for a consistent evening schedule? We are looking for a reliable Production Technician to join our assembly team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality components that meet professional standards. Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday – Thursday

• Hours: 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM (22 hours per week)

• Status: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will follow technical instructions to build various cable assemblies from start to finish. Your daily tasks will include:

• Measuring & Cutting: Utilizing manual tools and automated machines to cut cables to precise lengths.

• Wire Preparation: Stripping wire insulation to meet strict commercial requirements and standards.

• Assembly: Installing hardware, marking, and labeling components for easy identification.

• Crimping: Professional termination of wires using specialized crimping tools and terminals.

• Quality Control: Ensuring every assembly matches the provided diagrams and instructions perfectly.

What You Bring to the Table

• Hand-Eye Coordination: Experience using hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, cutters) is highly preferred.

• Technical Literacy: Ability to read and follow written assembly instructions and diagrams.

• Precision: Great attention to detail—you’re the type of person who measures twice and cuts once.

• Reliability: You’re someone we can count on to show up for every shift ready to work.

Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.

• Manual dexterity to handle small components and wires.

• Visual acuity to read small labels and color-coded wires.
