Monarch plastics currently seeking a 2nd pressman /Operator to join our 1st Shift. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to be a key player in the manufacturing process. Job Functions:

• Proficiently set-up, adjust and operate the press with minimal direct supervision and within efficiency targets
• Perform all make-ready tasks associated with the press
• Read and review job order and understand processes required for production
• Evaluate finished material on press, making necessary color or press adjustments to meet quality standards
• Work as part of a team that is committed to producing a quality product and meeting company objectives in a safe and clean working environment
• Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks as necessary
• Prolonged standing with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work a First shift schedule (5:00 am - 1:30 pm Monday through Friday)
• Other duties as assigned to meet team objectives

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a printing presses
• Komori LS 640
• Ink mixing, plate mounting and support experience
• Ability to consistently produce product within customer specifications, with minimal number of production errors
• Excellent trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and self-directed
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime hours as needed to meet customer requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
