About Job

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  
  OR
• Associate's degree + 2 years of job-related IT experience
  
  OR
• 4 years of IT-related work experience

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of technical experience in systems analysis, design, programming, or IT-related work

Required Technical Skills

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Experience with Apache or Tomcat web/application servers
• Familiarity with Medicare systems or projects
• Tools:
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Jenkins
  • Git

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools such as:
  • Splunk
  • Datadog
• Valuable for:
  • System support
  • Performance monitoring
  • Root cause analysis

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Monitor Linux/Unix servers for performance and health using scripts and logs
• Administer and configure Apache/Tomcat servers to ensure secure and efficient operation
• Use Jira to manage support tickets and track system issues
• Maintain CI/CD environments using Jenkins and Git
• Support and troubleshoot web and cloud-based environments
• Integrate applications across systems to ensure seamless communication
• Participate in IT strategy, provide design recommendations, and evaluate technologies
• Troubleshoot deployment issues using Splunk or Datadog
• Resolve user/system problems and maintain smooth development/deployment workflows
