Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer - IV to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications. This role requires a strong understanding of Java technologies, cloud computing, and big data solutions. The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with team members both in-office and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Determine design methodologies and toolsets, complete programming using languages and software products, and design and conduct tests.
• Create multimedia applications using authoring tools.
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, and activities to complete application development.
• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Develop web applications using popular web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
• Work with cloud computing and big data technologies such as Cassandra, NoSQL DBs, Elastic Search, Kafka, Docker, Spark, Storm, and Hadoop.
• Utilize strong scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, etc.
• Implement Agile development methodologies and automated CI/CD processes using tools like Git, Jenkins, and JIRA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 7 to 10 years of software development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Proficiency in Java J2EE and Hibernate.
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and big data technologies.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts is a plus.
• AWS certifications and Cassandra certification are a plus.

Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr on w2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
