Pay Range: $65.49 - $74.90 per hour

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Organize and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate from an accredited school or university
• At least 2 years experience in Renal Transplant Nursing
• Successful completion of all Orientation Program

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:

• Per Diem
• 2 – 12.5 hour shifts per month, both shifts on weekend
• 1 – 12.5 hour Summer Holiday (July 4th, Easter, Labor Day)
• 1 – 12.5 hour Winter Holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
