Physician Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: 3 shifts/week, 8am-8pm , every other weekend , no on-call
Facility Type: Outpatient About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to provide high-quality care to pediatric and young adult patients. This role includes diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and delivering patient-centered education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely EHR documentation
- Educate and support patients and their families
- Participate in ongoing quality-improvement initiatives
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
- Active NP or PA license in New Jersey
- Experience in pediatric and primary care settings
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- CPR and BLS certifications
- No additional certifications required
- Ages: Pediatrics 0-18; Adults (younger population)
- Patient Volume: ~2-4 patients per hour
