Department: Purchasing / Parts
Reports To: Inventory Manager
Pay & Benefits:
- Medical, Dental, and AD&D insurance; $17.34/hr
Job Summary
The Parts Room Clerk I is responsible for supporting daily parts room operations, including inventory control, receiving and issuing parts, stocking, and delivering materials in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide customer service and perform clerical duties
- Deliver parts to designated departments or personnel
- Label and package products as needed
- Issue parts to internal customers accurately
- Create and maintain daily reports for supervisors
- Assist with additional parts room tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 months of parts room or related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Bilingual is preferred but not required
