Job Title: Press Setup Operator

A well-established leader in the precision metal stamping industry is seeking an experienced Press Setup Operator to join our dedicated team in Clifton, NJ. We produce critical components for the aerospace and electronics sectors and are looking for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to our mission of quality and excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of mechanical presses. The ideal candidate will have a background in progressive die stamping and a commitment to precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate mechanical presses (e.g., Minster, Bliss, Johnson) according to job specifications.

• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure accurate production.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain machine efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a metal stamping environment.

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

• Ability to handle the physical demands of a manufacturing role, including standing for extended periods.

• A meticulous and safety-conscious approach to all tasks.

We offer a competitive wage of $24 - $34 per hour , based on experience. The schedule is first shift, Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with significant overtime available. If you are ready to apply your expertise in a stable and fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
