Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access awareness, assist visitors and staff with professionalism, and deliver trusted service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public recreation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of park grounds, trails, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, public gathering areas, and/or closed facilities to help to deter trespassing, vandalism, and other policy violations while reporting concerns to the appropriate contact.
- Assist with directions, general information, and visitor interactions while supporting orderly use of government property during normal operations, special events, and/or closing procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
