Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a School District in East Orange, NJ to hire 20 Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year . Position Details

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: East Orange, NJ
• Schedule: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week (6.5-hour workdays)
• Contract Dates: September 3, 2026 – June 23, 2027
• School Assignment: One school

Available Programs & Grade Levels

• Cognitive Impairments (CI): 7th Grade (1), 8th Grade (1)
• Emotional Regulation Impairment (ERI): Grades 3–5 (1), Grades 9–10 (1)
• Learning Disabilities (Cross-Categorical): 7th Grade (1), 8th Grade (2)
• Moderately Cognitively Impaired (MCI): Grades 9–10 (1), 11th Grade (1), 12th Grade (1)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 1: Grades 3–5 (1), 9th Grade (1), 10th Grade (1), 11th Grade (1), 12th Grade (1)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 2: Grades 1–2 (1), Grades 7–8 (1)
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3: Grades K–2 (1), Grades 3–5 (1), Grades 6–8 (1)

All classrooms are self-contained .

Required Qualifications

• New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) endorsement or Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement
• Valid New Jersey primary teaching certification aligned with the grade level and/or subject assignment
