ROLE DESCRIPTION
AGG is adding a Scrum Master/Release Manager to lead Agile ceremonies, quarterly planning, and cross-team collaboration in support of key initiatives. This role blends Agile leadership with hands-on technical expertise, guiding delivery while contributing to modern application development using Angular, TypeScript, Java, and microservices. Candidates with 3 5 years of Scrum Master experience, strong communication skills, and a financial services background are especially encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure team alignment and delivery.
- Lead quarterly planning sessions and assist in long-term roadmap development utilizing tools such as JIRA Align, MIRO, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Develop responsive, scalable applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular and TypeScript, along with HTML/CSS and RxJS.
- Build and maintain robust backend services utilizing Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, while designing and integrating RESTful APIs with clear documentation.
- Other duties as directed by leadership.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to engage effectively with product managers and senior stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team environment.
OTHER Must have no other full-time commitments, ready to engage in exciting technical consulting projects with our diverse portfolio of clients.
