Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Production Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will support daily production operations, working closely with heavy machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate must follow safety rules, perform assigned tasks independently, and contribute to the production of quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. O perate or assist with machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
2. Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
3. Assemble parts or products as directed
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area
5. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors
6. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
7. Work unsupervised when required and follow instructions accurately
8. Perform other general labour or production tasks as needed

Working Conditions:

1. Work frequently around heavy machinery and moving mechanical parts
2. Environment may be hot, cold, greasy, noisy, or dirty depending on the season and operation
3. Not climate-controlled – must be able to work in varying temperatures
4. PPE provided and mandatory: steel-toed shoes, gloves, eye and ear protection, high-visibility clothin g

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Prior assembly or mechanical experience is an asset
2. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
3. Dependable and capable of working independently
4. Physically fit – able to lift, bend, stand for long periods
5. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and procedures
