Qualifications

****Willing to provide in person services in NJ- Bergen, Hudson, Hunterdon, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, or Warren counties ****

• Education/Certification: LSW, LAC, and LMFT license from NEW JERSEY
• Experience: Proven ability to work with clients, other professionals, and para-professionals in diverse communities
• Skills and Abilities: Ability to create a warm, non-threatening therapeutic atmosphere, ability to provide non-judgmental responses, ability to counsel adolescents/children and families, ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Professional Characteristics: Open, warm, empathic, attentive listener, self-aware, ethical, creative, organized, flexible, open to criticism, patient, responsible, able to work independently, mature, self-motivated, dedicated, and enthusiastic

Responsibilities

• Serve children and families involved in the Children’s System of Care (CSOC)
• Provide services primarily in client homes. Cases are authorized from 2-4 hours for 8-12 weeks at a time.
• Travel to client homes
• Schedule sessions at times that are convenient for children and families, and when problems are likely to occur, including evenings and weekends
• Provide a range of clinical, concrete, and advocacy services to family members that are consistent with the family’s values, learning styles, lifestyle, circumstances, and culture
• Respects others’ professional opinions and tolerates a range of feelings
• Give and receive constructive criticism
• Perform required tasks according to JFC philosophy, policies and procedures
• Use good judgment, practices ethical decision-making, and explores all options in problem-solving
• Adheres to paperwork time-frames and deadlines

Job Types: Part-time, Contract ***

Starting Pay: $80-$100

($45-$55 per hour for BA/BS level Behavioral Assistants)

Productivity and/or sign on bonuses dependent upon caseload commitment

Work Location: On the road

We are seeking LSW/LAC and LCSW/LPC licensed therapists with at least one year of experience working with families.
