Billing – Collection – Appeals Position
Growing Chiropractic office
30 hrs - Monday-Thursday
Gloucester Township Area
Seeking an experienced Medical Biller to manage the billing process for office.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS :
· Maintain patient accounts by appropriately notating, updating, and collecting patient demographic, and insurance information
· Initiate, submit and obtain prior authorizations
· Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid
· Post Charges, payments, printing statements and generate reports
· Meet productivity and performance standards, including billing accuracy and timely submissions
· Verify and handle health insurance, personal injury billing, collections, and appeals.
· Perform denial management and appeal process when necessary
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience with medical claims processing, insurance verification, medical records and insurance terminology required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
* Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
* Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong billing knowledge.
Bi-Lingual a Plus
Experience in a chiropractic office a Plus
