About Us

The Athena Margaux Foundation is dedicated to supporting grieving mothers and families who have experienced infant loss. Through compassion, community, and healing programs, we provide emotional support, memorial resources, and financial assistance to help families navigate their grief journey.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and highly organized Assistant to the CEO with a background in social work (experience or education preferred). This role is both administrative and personal support, helping our CEO manage her daily schedule while also assisting with program coordination, events, and family outreach.

This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and a genuine passion for our mission. Candidates must also have access to a car for errands, events, and community engagement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage CEO’s day-to-day schedule, appointments, and communications.
• Assist with program coordination, grief support outreach, and event planning.
• Provide empathetic communication with grieving families and community partners.
• Run errands and provide logistical support as needed.
• Maintain organized records, reports, and confidential information.
• Support fundraising initiatives, donor relations, and volunteer coordination.
• Serve as a direct point of support for the CEO in balancing organizational and program needs.

Qualification:

• Education or experience in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and able to handle sensitive situations with care.
• Flexibility to adjust to the CEO’s schedule and Foundation needs.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
