Java Technical Lead

Cognizant's Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Technical lead engineer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a Hybrid position requiring 2 to 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Please note: _A few of our roles may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client locations, depending on project or client needs_ **_In this role, you will:_** Development -Writing, testing, and debugging code. Designing and implementing new features. Participating in planning meetings and technical reviews. Support deployment. Manage production issues for resolution **What you need to have to be considered:** Strong hands-on experience with JAVA, Spring boot, Openshift. Hands on Experience in Oracle Database. Strong hands-on experience on Angular 10 and Above Exp with any cloud services. **These will help you stand out** Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $65,000- $99,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
