Job Opening: Data Entry Clerk

Location: 202 Halls Mill Road, Readington Township, NJ 08889

Pay Rate: $18 – $20.50/hr (W2)

Duration: 6 Months

Work Type: Onsite

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support data management and processing functions. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately enter, verify, and review policy information using proprietary systems. The ideal candidate will ensure timely completion of data entry tasks while maintaining high accuracy and meeting established quality and productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review client and insured data from one proprietary mainframe system and accurately transfer it into another.
• Compile and verify data for accuracy before entry.
• Ensure accurate entry of existing data and apply appropriate or matching additional coverages as required.
• Communicate effectively with agents and internal stakeholders regarding data discrepancies or referral cases.
• Achieve and maintain quality and production targets:
• • Within 90 days: 80% quality and 60% production goals.
  • Within 150 days: 95% quality and 90% production goals.
• Review and correct any returned errors within 24 hours of receipt from the team specialist or trainer.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows 10 operating environment .
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications , including:
• • Word: Creating and editing documents, attaching files to emails.
  • Excel: Updating existing spreadsheets and tracking forms (no advanced formula creation required).
  • Outlook: Managing calendars, emails, and scheduling.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of office or business experience.
• Prior Personal Lines Insurance knowledge is a plus.
