Accounts Payable Specialist

We are a respected and resourceful distributor of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration parts, equipment and other MRO supplies on a mission to #bethebestpart. No matter the need, we keep our customers supplied and running. We are currently seeking a Sales Director to join our Senior Leadership team.

The Keep Supply Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing financial transactions. Responsibilities for this role include daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and receive invoices for dropship and stock purchase orders.
• Communicate with vendors on invoicing discrepancies.
• Receive, process, and reconcile statements.
• Work with the warehouse manager to review stock invoices.
• Generate and review monthly reports.
• Prepare and send weekly check runs.
• Prepare weekly AP forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices
• Perform administrative and other tasks as needed
• Manage and maintain all communication needed between intercompany departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.
• Take ownership and responsibility for your own workload while also supporting the team.

Requirements

• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Familiarity with Brightpearl/Sage, Microsoft Excel, and Google Drive is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data.
• Outstanding math and research skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with 10-key typing and data entry.
• Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability.
• Bilingual skills are a plus
