Advocare Greentree Pediatrics is a very well-established family oriented pediatric practice located in Marlton, NJ. We are seeking a part-time pediatrician to join us, with potential opportunity to transition to full-time. Our practice is committed to providing the highest quality health care in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere. We are affiliated with Virtua Hospital in Voorhees Township New Jersey, which is a short 15 minutes away from our practice.

This is an opportunity to work with a family-oriented pediatric practice where you can share your expertise and skills. Our supportive staff is here to meet the needs of the providers so that flow is as seamless and productive as possible. Position Responsibilities:

• Perform physical exams and diagnose/treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions.
• Track and assess a patient’s growth and monitor physical, emotional, and social development.
• Ability to eventually see 20-25 patients on average daily.
• Provide proper education on nutrition, physical activity, hygiene, and diseases.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic imaging and labs.
• Have advance knowledge on CDC childhood vaccines and scheduling and administer vaccines appropriately.
• Efficiently work in EMR to review, collect, and record all medical information pertaining to the patient.

Position Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pediatrician
• Medical Degree with specialization in pediatrics
• Valid license to practice medicine in NJ
• In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
• Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
• Up to speed knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects
• Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems
• Active listener, patient, calm with a warm demeanor No brusque attitudes need apply
• Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communications skills

Schedule:

• Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts variable.
• Weekend hours are 10AM-12PM on a rotating schedule.
• On-call is phone-based and limited to the practice patients only and is shared by all other providers in a rotating manor
• Hospital rounding rotating schedule
