Job Description

The role of Application Engineer / Service Technician at Royal Master Grinder involves many different disciplines. Primarily it involves the interaction between all disciplines within the company to bring a project to conclusion and implementation for the end user. This involves working with our engineering, assembly, sales and customer service departments. The ultimate result of this is the completion of the customer’s factory acceptance test as well as installation at the customer facility.

Requirements for this job is a good mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and a desire to learn. Every application that you will work on is different thus challenging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:

Providing expert guidance to customers and internal teams on CNC products, software, and troubleshooting.

• Process Optimization:

Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

• Customer Training:

Delivering training to customers on the operation, programming, and maintenance of CNC machines and related software.

• Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving machine-related issues and problems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production.

• Project Management:

Managing the project when it comes out of assembly including time studies, and demonstrations.

• Education:

A bachelor's degree in engineering is not a requirement, were looking for good people with a good hands on aptitude.

• Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to different customer needs and work both independently and as part of a team.
