Event Coordinator
Job Title: Weekend Events Coordinator (Part-Time) Company: Vijay Home Foods Location: Tri-State Area (NJ, NY, CT) Job Type: Part-Time | Weekend Only About the Role Vijay Home Foods is looking for an energetic and organized Weekend Events Coordinator to manage and oversee events and live in-store sampling for our products, including dosa/idli batters and ice creams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, managing on-ground activities, and ensuring smooth execution of promotional events across multiple retail locations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee live in-store sampling events for Vijay Home Foods products across the Tri-State area.
- Supervise sampling activities across multiple stores simultaneously when events are scheduled in parallel.
- Support the sampling team with event setup, including tables, promotional materials, and product preparation as and when required
- Conduct regular performance checks with the sampling team to ensure brand standards and customer engagement.
- Interact with customers, introduce the products, and collect feedback during sampling activities.
- Capture photos, short videos, and customer testimonials as feedback
- Coordinate with multiple sampling teams to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule.
- Transport products or materials on weekends when required to support sampling activities.
- Available to work weekends regularly.
- Comfortable traveling across the Tri-State area to different retail stores.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and teams simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to transport products when needed is preferred.
- Prior experience in event coordination, brand promotions, or retail sampling.
- Familiarity with Indian food products such as dosa or idli batters is a plus.
