Tax Accountant

Job Title: Tax Accountant Job Description We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations, and supporting audit processes. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Responsibilities + Prepare, process, and maintain paperwork for quarterly provisions, annual reports, and corporate tax returns. + Assist in overseeing international tax compliance, including GILTI, BEAT, and Pillar Two. + Participate in special projects such as tax credits and transfer pricing documentation. + Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions. + Calculate current and deferred tax provisions for financial statement reporting. + Reconcile tax accounts and maintain SOX-compliant documentation. + Provide schedules and documentation for internal controls and external audit support. + Address tax-related questions and issues raised during audit processes. + Maintain accurate records of fixed assets for tax purposes. + Calculate and reconcile book vs. tax depreciation. + Collaborate with departmental leadership to ensure smooth, accurate reporting processes. + Prepare quarterly reports detailing relevant tax information. + Assist with project planning. Required Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field. + Good communication skills. + Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. + Well-developed analytical skills. + High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude. + Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. + Strong Excel skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications + Preferred experience of several years as a corporate tax accountant or in a similar role. + Professional certification (CPA). + Previous experience in public or multinational company will be an added advantage. + Analytical mindset and willingness to learn new systems. Work Environment + The position offers a hybrid schedule with Monday to Wednesday in the office and Thursday to Friday working from home. The office is located in West Orange, NJ, with roughly 30+ team members. The direct manager is based in North Carolina, necessitating virtual communication. The role is bonus eligible, with a history of consistent bonus payouts over the past five years. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of West Orange, NJ.
