Product Development Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Guide packaging design and development.
- Serve as Packaging subject matter expert.
- Collaborate on packaging design/material/processes.
- Drive creative solutions to technical challenges.
- Develop and analyze packaging test methods.
- Provide inputs for process validation and capability issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality policies.
Experience Required
- Strong technical judgment and leadership.
- Proficiency in packaging design and development.
- Statistical methods and data analysis proficiency.
- CAD modeling and design for manufacturability.
- Fixture design and test methods development.
Skills & Certifications
- Project management and multitasking skills.
- Six Sigma practices and Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- Bachelor\'s/Master\'s/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Working knowledge of packaging industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with packaging design and development.
- Proficiency in statistical methods and data analysis.
- CAD modeling and design for manufacturability skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Certified Packaging Professional through the Institute of Packaging Professionals preferred.
