Inbound Medical Receptionist

We are seeking energetic and reliable professionals to join our team of Medical Receptionists. The successful candidates will be responsible for answering incoming patient calls, utilizing company policies to solve patient concerns, and directing calls to the managerial team when necessary. Our Medical Receptionists are often the first point of contact for patient concerns, so we are interested in hiring individuals with a commitment to patient care and an ability to make quick and accurate decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as floor resource to support Medical Receptionists.
• Monitor phone calls and performance; provide coaching.
• Assist in the training team on customer and/or client information and systems.
• Provide input to merit review for team members.
• Participate in hiring new team members.
• Coordinate with the Finance department to order office supplies as needed.
• Advises the reception team with questions, concerns, and inquiries higher than their authority.
• Monitor call reports & or Booking reports facilitating practice needs.
• Reprimand employees appropriately, and professionally, and keep in mind employee productivity.
• Train team on 911 protocols to ensure providers have trained staff to handle emergencies.
• Monitor behaviors of employees who need help or require a manager to oversee. And assist with writing verbal & written warnings.
• Assist the team daily with questions or concerns & actively participates in daily tasks & projects
• Learn EMR Systems in and out & be prepared to address call center call reports. (interpret & address trends with calls).
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information being discussed from all departments, including employee concerns, sensitive financial documents, & any other information that should not be disclosed to any other employees or departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
