As a Payroll Specialist Contractor, your responsibilities will include:

• Accurately processing payroll for employees based in the US and Canada.
• Managing payroll tax notices at the state, local, and provincial levels.
• Maintaining and updating payroll records in the system.
• Reconciling and balancing payroll accounts.
• Supporting the Finance team with monthly billing and other non-payroll tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of payroll experience; experience with global payroll is a plus.
• Proficiency in handling payroll tax notifications.
• Ability to generate accurate payroll reports.
• Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge is advantageous.
• Must be able to work on-site in Ramsey, NJ, 2 days per week and remotely 3 days per week.
• Approximately 20 hours of work per week.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ADP WFN payroll system.
• Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite systems is a plus.
