Tank Farm Operator
Location: Bridgeton, NJ The Tank Farm Operator is responsible for receiving, sampling, transferring, blending, and inspecting refrigerants at the packaging facility. This role involves operating vapor compressors and liquid pumps, performing DOT-required inspections of refrigerant containers, and maintaining accurate operational records. Responsibilities: *Maintain a clean work area and ensure the entire area of responsibility is free from safety hazards *Communicate with supervisors and coworkers using written logs and other available informationregarding job changes, issues, or special instructions *Inspect railcars and other refrigerant containers for leaks; repair minor leaks when possible *Weigh and accurately record weights of tank trucks, ISO containers, and railcars *Sample inbound shipments, outbound shipments, and storage tanks as required *Inspect inbound and outbound containers to ensure DOT compliance *Identify and report non-conforming products Requirements: *HS Diploma or equivalent *Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial equipment *Basic math and reading skills *Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm Compensation:
