Construction Site Supervisor/Manager - Asbestos Abatement

$75-85,000

Established Environmental Services Company is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor/Manager with Asbestos Abatement experience to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing asbestos abatement and inspection projects from start to finish. This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and works closely with clients, field staff, and regulatory agencies to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project completion. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage multiple asbestos abatement projects simultaneously.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and staffing requirements. Manage kick-off meetings.
• Supervise field staff to ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with regulations (EPA, OSHA, state guidelines).
• Prepare and submit regulatory notifications and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits, project inspections, and quality control checks.
• Interface with clients to provide project updates, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, air monitoring equipment, and other tools.
• Manage project closeout, including final air clearances, waste manifests, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in related field a plus.
• Valid Asbestos license for NY / or Air Monitor background
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing asbestos abatement or environmental remediation projects.
• Strong knowledge of federal and NY/NJ state asbestos (or related remediation) regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with project management tools, Microsoft Office, and report writing.
