Location: Pearl River, NY

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Work Environment: Warehouse

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support our telecommunications and electrical equipment operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing material requests, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery to meet project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with vendors to source and pick materials specific to telecommunications and electrical equipment.
• Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) to set accurate expectations for material delivery timelines.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite effectively, and demonstrate the ability to learn proprietary systems for tracking and emailing PMs regarding material availability.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills for vendor and internal team coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment preferred.

Requirements:

• Means of transportation to and from work.
• Professional.
• Complete interview steps - which may be one or two rounds. Virtual or in-person.
• Complete necessary paperwork and onboarding required for position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pearl River, New York.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lee, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
