Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized treatment strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding health promotion, prevention strategies, and chronic disease management

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a recognized specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capacity to obtain within 90 days)
